Furry Sweet Talk Café offers a pet-friendly environment for pet-walkers to rest and enjoy dessert for them as well as their pets. There is also a comfortable chatroom for the pet owners to interact and create a connection with one another. The objective is to build the community in Vancouver area and create a warm and friendly society. The café will bring positive energy to the society since a pet is the best ice-breaker to start a conversation.
The design approach to the project uses friendly colours to display a warm and welcoming mood. The look of the logo is a combination of popular pets, such as a dog and a cat, to symbolize the shape of an ice cream cone which indicates dessert. The reason for positioning the cat in front of dog is to encourage people whose personalities are like cats (shy), to meet people openly. The packaging used for the café uses reusable material and encourages the customers to keep it for next visit. This encourages the cut down of waste and promote sustainable practices. The café has an app which allows the customers to pre-order the menu before arrival and to customize the product for their pets accordingly.
